Nazareth Plaza - Towers 1 +2

Nazareth Plaza is home to the headquarters of the current government and functions as its own city, there is no need for those who live there to ever leave the walled off area. While it’s completely closed off to civilians, government and military officials are allowed in as long as they have clearance, and even then it can be a hassle to get in.

Tower 1:

The tallest building in the United States, it is the governmental tower where all the work gets done. It is a great honor to be promoted and invited to work in the tower, and is only made available to the best and the brightest. Those who work hard to earn the privilege to work there are highly rewarded, from a home in the plaza to the best resources there is to offer.

Tower 2:

The residential tower as well as the home to the support facilities. The Shane’s reside in the uppermost floors, and very few people have ever seen inside their luxurious home. Lower floors include smaller apartments and homes, as well as recreational facilities.

There is also an underground walkway between the two towers, that was just recently renovated. The Shane’s saw the grim tunnels and brought in artists from all over and instructed them to put up breathtaking mosaics. The artists worked with a contractor and set up a lighting system that enhances the beauty of the glass tile work. An independent air filter was installed to make sure that the artwork would be protected from outside humidity and dirt. The highly specialized air filter and lights drew enough power that it was decided to add a separate generator.

Other buildings:

The most notable building is the church, it was one of the first buildings completed in the Nazareth Plaza. Designed by a team of the best architects, it is filled with stunning angles and eye catching stained glass. To date, this is the largest and most expensive church built since the war. The doors to the church are always open to government officials, and there are special services daily so that no matter what hours someone works they always have access.

The hospital is right behind the towers and provides top rate care to government staff and their immediate family. It is fully staffed by the finest nurses and doctors the country has to offer.

There is a large park, with an open grass area full of trees and various types of flowers. In the center of the plaza, there is a large fountain dedicated to Fiona Shane for ending the bloodiest war the US had ever seen. The park is a popular place for officials to take a break to rest their minds before returning to work.

War on Crime: Anti-government terrorist threat removed

—-USA NEWS Feb, 10 2178 10:45AM

The war on crime has taken another step forward as a group of anti-government terrorists were apprehended early this morning. According to reports, a small strike team infiltrated the makeshift headquarters and took down the team with little difficulty.

“The group was small, there was only a dozen people, and very disorganized. We pushed into the building with very little resistance, and took down the man claiming to be their leader first. After that, most of the followers surrendered.” Captain Feldt spoke to our reporters shortly after arranging transport for the fugitives. “Upon investigation it became clear that this group was planning to do some very serious crimes against the people of this fine country. We thank the good samaritan who came forward with a tip, the information saved a lot of lives.”

This was the third major success in the last month, and the military is on track to reduce the crime rate to the 0% goal, set late last year. “There wasn’t any doubt on our end,” Feltz said on the ambitious goal. “We helped set the goal, so going into this operation we were confident. And it’s been highly successful so far, there should be no doubts about reaching it. We are very proud of the fine men and women who are working day and night to end crime before it takes the lives of our citizens.”

((Excuse my poor drawing skills. New boundary lines for the US.  Canada opened borders and offered safety and citizenship to Americans during the civil war, and ended up absorbing several states in the process. Mexico, on the other hand, invaded and pushed their territory north. Diplomacy with both countries is tense, though the US government is on better terms with Mexico, and regularly pays bounties to Mexican citizens who report and/or detain fleeing Americans. Several underground railroad type movements work on trying to get US citizens up into Canada, but are incredibly hard to find and fairly unstable. —Niko))
